Rio Chirripo is a small lodge near the trailhead of Costa Rica's tallest mountain, Chirripo. A tranquil 12-acre oasis located on the Chirripo River, between the villages of San Gerardo and Canaan. Surrounded by green hills and small farms, Rio Chirripo's natural setting will inspire you, whether you come as a guest to our peaceful B&B or reserve our facilities for small retreats, family gatherings or your dream wedding.
We offer eight beautiful guestrooms all with private baths and a riverside bungalow. For the more adventurous there are also two roofed platforms for "luxury camping" near the river. For private group events only, there is a facilitator's apartment, which can comfortably accommodate up to five people. At Rio the days are warm and the evenings cool to spring-like temperatures, which create the perfect sleeping environment.
