Rincón de la Vieja Volcano Hacienda Guachipelin is located at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, near the town of Curubande, in the province of Guanacaste. The Hacienda borders the popular Rincón de la Vieja National Park.
For decades, the principal activity at Hacienda Guachipelin has been the breeding and rearing of cattle and pure bred Spanish horses.

Country side people We offer comfortable rooms, with private bathrooms and hot water, as well as home-cooked meals, transportation and numerous organized tours and adventures into the national park and the surrounding attractions.Hacienda Guachipelin is a down-to-earth, yet comfortable hotel catering to nature lovers and adventure travelers. The hotel has 26 rooms: 18 standard doubles and 8 large and economical "family" rooms and one simple single in the old "casona." All of the rooms have private bathrooms with hot water.

Enjoy a day full of nature on the foot of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Start with a guided tour to our butterfly garden, frog and snake exhibit. You will have the opportunity to interact with one of our snakes of the exhibition and even take a picture back home. Then at the lookout point you will see the two volcanoes and the pacific ocean. The next activity is a visit to the Rio Negro waterfalls followed by a volcanic mud treatment and the relaxing bath in the hot springs. To finish the day you will enjoy a picnic in the forest.
